I found this place through internet and read all the reviews on tripadvisor.... and my final comment is: absolutely amazing place to stay in Melaka.

Owners area very helpful. There are 2 girls doing the work... they do not speak english but somehow we managed to communicate. Just great experience to have.

The cottage is about 5-10 min drive from Melaka´s Chinatown. Approximately MYR 15 (one way)... The Cottage is located close to one of the main roads, but you do not hear the noise of the traffic. Rooms are immaculate and quite big. Breakfast is nice and includes local food mixed with fried egg and toasts (if you wish).

The owner is awesome. He does everything he can do to make your stay like you are at home.

JUST GREAT....NONO.... ABSOLUTELY GREAT. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

we had loads of fun! my partner and I couldn't help but be amazed with the place. the moment we got in, we knew that it's gonna be a nice place to stay. it's homey, relaxing place, the best place to be when you want to unwind. we were in awe when we got in the room. we got excited coz we loved it so much! . Apart from the place, we were both impressed by the service of the owner, and "lilian" the receptionist gave us. they were just wonderful! Would surely be back there if ever we drop by Melaka!

We loved this place. Cyclamen Cottage is a labour of love for the owners. Restored and filled with Straits-Chinese and Colonial artifacts and furnishings. It is a real treat to stay here. Perfect place to relax and unwind.

Excellent place! More a small hotel than a hostel, offering large clean rooms with historical furnishings that blend in beautifully with the old house. We had one of the Deluxe rooms which had a big LCD TV and a four poster bed! Great value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Absolutely brilliant place! this is extremely good value for money as the quality of the place is worth at least a 3 stars hotel rating. its superclean and the hosts couldnt be friendlier. a downset is the location as it is just a bit too far out of the historical centre for walking distance, though a 3 euro cab ride wont hurt anyone. If you need to cool down and relax, this is the place.

We had such a wonderful time and nice experience there.

Warm and homey atmosphere. Its a great place relax in Melaka.

The rooms is clean and tidy, in love with the 32 inch LCD TV.

Nice collections, its really amazing. We took a lots of photo.

The owners are wonderful and very helpful really make me felt at home.

Felt Lucky I have the chance to stay at there, hope I can go there next time:D
